The Antichrist Misunderstanding

0

A Satanic secret manipulator or a peacemaker claiming to represent Christ?

Can the history of Israel be compared to the history of the Christians? And if so, what can it tell us about the Antichrist?

I was born in the mid-70s and got to be a child in the 80s. On the weekends I started the day with watching a marathon of cartoons. And it all went down the same way. An evil and a good person, or persons, trying to save someone from the evil. The evil was always depicted as ugly and angry, something it was easy to be disgusted with or someone you were compelled to dislike. It was never hard to take sides no matter what cartoon series it was. The creators had already determined for the viewer who had the different roles. Still today many are brought up with these stereotypes that evil appears obvious, ugly and not compelling, and the protagonist is pretty. Research has even shown that you are more likely to succeed getting that really awesome job if you have the looks. Other researchers have presented many different faces to a group of people and asked them who they thought looked most trustworthy of everyone on the photos. They were amazed to see the results, the test subjects usually pointed out the people on the photos that looked most like themselves to be the most trustworthy.

This is well known for anyone who researches the origin of racism. People are generally a bit afraid of anyone who appears different, or who have a different culture, mostly because it makes them insecure and worried about what to expect. And some allow that worry to be transformed to fear and then even hate.

Anyone expecting the Anti-Christ to be a visibly ugly, despicable person with bad vibes might be waiting in vain. And anyone thinking the charming pastor/priest/preacher that shares your own culture and appearance are safe to follow, might one day be caught by surprise. The devil is not stupid. We are warned: «And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. » (2. Cor.11:14-15) But what does Satan gain by pretending to represent the gospel, and even Christ? It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. Paul comes with a suggestion: «And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage…» (Gal.2:4)

In Revelation 17 we see a woman riding a beast and on her forehead it says: «mystery Babylon the great, the mother of harlots…» (17:5) The word mystery can also be translated «secret». But why a secret?

In the Bible when God speaks of His congregation, He repeatedly uses the word ‘woman’. Of Israel and Juda, He once compared them to two women: «And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD. And the LORD said unto me, the backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. » (Jer.3:9-11)

In Revelation chapter 12 we learn of a pure woman, who is persecuted by the dragon, but later in the same book we also see this other woman who have committed fornication, and she also has a name on her forehead, which is mystery. Now in the story of Juda and Israel they did fornication with idol worship, and it was because of this that they were referred to as an adulterous woman. So could the woman we see in Revelation 17 actually be an impure church with great influence? And her true identity is a mystery in how she is tied together with Babylon? Because if God’s people have been tricked into a form of ancient idolatry do they not match the corrupted church spoken of in Jeremiah? There are clues in the old testament that will help us identify and understand the meaning of the symbols in Revelation. After all there are several hundred references to the old testament in the book of Revelation. And we are not given to unlock prophecy by our own wisdom. We need to trust the revelations of the scriptures. Remember, the bible wasn’t written to the atheists but it was written to the believers.

Now how did Judah and Israel become corrupted? They had a falling away from the truth. Paul gives us this cue on how and when the Antichrist will appear: «Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. » (2. Thess.2:3-4)

He clearly states that the man of sin gets to sit, and show himself as if he is God in God’s temple after there have been a «FALLING AWAY FIRST». So the church’s spiritual fall is what leads to the rise of a power. And why the reference to God’s temple? When God dwelt in the temple He dwelt over His law revealing His right as King and revealing His jurisdiction. From here He received people’s prayers for forgiveness and He granted them. From here He ruled over His congregation.

If an anti-Christ is to sit as «God sitteth in the temple», then he must be placing himself as a form of leader or a lawmaker within a back-sliding church, and give himself authority only God has as judge and lawmaker for he is «shewing himself that he is God». The Greek word for God, «theos» (Θεοσ), is also used by Jesus in John.10:34: « Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? » (John. 10:34-36). Now Jesus isn’t saying people can become God Himself. He is quoting Psalms 82:6: «I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.». You see the Hebrew word for ‘God’ wasn’t just used to describe God Himself. The word ELOHIM had a wider term and were also used on those judging over God’s people (on God’s behalf). Like in Exodus: «Then his master shall bring him unto the judges (ELOHIM); he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever. » (Exo.21:6). And here: «If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges (ELOHIM), to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods. » (Exo.22:8). God Himself was the supreme judge, but in the old testament in Genesis we see elohim translated into the word ‘mighty’ about Abraham: «Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty (ELOHIM) prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead. » (Gen.23:6).

Although Paul’s letter is in Greek, Paul himself was a Jew and a Pharisee with an understanding of the words in his own culture and religion. When Paul therefore says this ‘man’ will sit as God in his temple, he means he has placed himself in a supreme judging and overseeing position among God’s children. Now God have allowed many mediators in the old testament, but in the new covenant there would be no such mediators. «For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. » (1. Tim.2:5-6).

POPE-Francis-on-Throne

If someone is ever again to be given the task of being supreme judge over God’s congregation, surely we can expect him to follow Gods laws and not advocate his own. But of the ‘man of sin’ we learn the following: «And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. » (2. Thess 2: 10). Many think this is speaking of non-Christians, but Paul’s warning is to God’s congregation and not to atheists. It’s God’s people that are at risk of being deceived by this claimed supreme leader among them. Remember he rises after a ‘falling away’. This shows how those who were meant to follow Christ first allowed themselves to be deceived to indulge in spiritual fornication and therefore this leader was allowed to come and deceive them into thinking they were doing God’s will. Paul explains further in chapter 4 of the same letter: «For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. » (2.Ti.4:3-4). It’s the fallen church’s own sins that have caused this leader to surface, they wanted him and they accepted him when he came.

The seven churches

Unfortunately, many Christians seems to think everything in Revelation is tied to the future. Many don’t think that perhaps this book reveals the history of the Christian church from it was written and until Christ second coming. Many also think that it will all happen in sequence as it is written. However, a quick look at the book of Daniel reveals how God’s revelations are being repeated, but with new details added every time. For instance, the vision of the statue gives a quick look into the future of powers persecuting or subduing God’s people until Christ second coming. But in chapter 7 we are told the same again but with more details. We get some parts repeated again in chapter 8 but with even more details and the same with Daniel 9, 11 & 12. It’s full of repetition. Now, given the pattern we see in the book of Daniel, maybe we can expect the same to happen in the book of Revelation. Also, because the book of Daniel covers the time up until Christ second coming, we will most likely find John covering a timespan that is mentioned in Daniel but John having a lot more insight and detail.

timeline3

If this is the case, we can assume that perhaps the seven churches mentioned is actually in sequence, showing God’s church from John’s time and until Christ second coming. The other following visions might also be from his time and until Christ second coming and so on.

If this is the case, we can find out where God’s church went corrupt. The first church goes through a lot, still they succeeded at keeping Satan’s deceptions out of the church: «and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. » (Rev.2:2-3). They are also credited for rejecting the teaching of the ‘Nicolaitans’. Remember that because we will come back to that very soon. The second church called Smyrna have its challenges themselves. Again they have to deal with false brethren: «I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. » (v.9)

We can also see how this is a church suffering great persecution: « Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. » (v.10) The church following the first apostolic church was indeed severely persecuted by the roman empire and people.

The third stage we see in the church in Pergamon. Someone within this church have re-instated the «doctrine of the Nicolaitans». Not only that but: «But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. »

Jesus tells them to repent. But we also see martyrs in this church. «even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you» (v.13). Now who is Antipas? Is it a person or a group of people? In the whole bible, this is the only place this word is used. The word can be split into two parts, «anti» and «pas». The first part can obviously mean instead of or against. The second part, according to Strong’s Concordance, is from ‘patēr’ (πατήρ), which is the Greek word for father. Whoever this group that was martyred was, we see that they might possibly be against (anti) a father-figure. And this father-figure is not God, because He says that they are His people. So it’s an earthly father-figure they oppose, which actually leads to them suffering martyrdom. We know that the next power to martyr Christians after pagan Rome, was papal Rome. The title ‘Pope’, of course, means ‘Father’. Could this scripture actually be speaking of the people who opposed appointing a pope to lead the church? We see the appearance of an anti-pope group emerging along with a church falling away. Could this be the very time Paul spoke of? We know from history that the papal church mixed the old roman religion into Christianity.

The next time span of the churches in Revelation, John continues to speak of the fornication of the church. This time the church is called Thyatira. But it also reveals to us that God’s church has become divided: «Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. » (2:20-25).

This church is in deep trouble. Here we see many similarities to other places in the Bible. We see Jezebel who was a pagan woman that married into Israel, and then corrupting Israel. The marriage between this pagan woman and the leader of Israel was what eventually lead to Israel’s destruction. The Christian church did the same thing when they adopted and practiced pagan rites, and also Christianized them. The woman that is mentioned in Revelation 17 has also committed fornication with kings of the world. She is described to have children both here and in chapter 18. Both places they are condemned. In Revelation 18 we learn that we must ‘leave her’ and not partake in her sins. The same message is given to this church. Here we also learn that the church will be rejected by God and He will continue with those who do not partake in the fornication. We should therefore soon see a reformed church.

The next church is Sardis. They are clearly in the aftermath of the last church. «Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. …Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. » (Rev.3:2-4).

They have started, but have not yet reached the goal of reformation. We know that after the middle ages a reformation movement started. But many places the reformators continued to believe in many of the false teachings of the church before them, and even persecuted brethren. They had started a journey but were far from where they needed to be.

The next church is called Philadelphia. Here we see a big change. God again has a church that is faithful to Him: « I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. » (3:8) Here Jesus repeats something similar that He told the second church, that had also been faithful: “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. »

Remember that in the time of John there was no ‘Christian church’ but messianic Jews and pagans joining this Jewish group that believed in Jesus. Paul taught about Jesus in the synagogue and there were no Christian church buildings at this time. Jesus could therefore not use the term «Christians» as neither that was in use at that time. The word ‘Jew’ was tied to God’s people. As Paul said: «But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. » (Rom.2:29). It is therefore not likely that the term ‘Jew’ mentioned to the second church and the sixth church is really referring to the messianic movement or the Christians. To this church, as it is reformed from corruption, Jesus continues to say: «Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. » You would think all is well now, but it is not.

The last church is Laodicea, and it has become so lukewarm that it is the only church God has nothing good to say about. It’s certainly a continuation of the previous good church, but they have backslidden into a loveless relationship with God, leaving Jesus on the outside knocking rather than dining inside. This couldn’t fit better with God’s church today. Only about a 100 years ago we find a reformed church with high morals and great zeal for the truth. Today we see Gods’ people stuck in front of the TV and computer screens rather reading the Bible. No one seems to have time for Him or His word even though it’s never been more accessible. There is no place to go, everywhere the world is flooding in on God’s people. Laodicea has fallen asleep, which actually fits the state of a TV viewer. Scientists have proven that the television leaves the viewers in an apathetic state. They think they have the truth, but they don’t live it. And if the truth is not reflected in their lives, they will be lost. Christ earnestly urges them to wake up and get aid so they can see their true situation, so that they can open the door and let Christ in. The last time God’s church had a falling away after first being pure, the man of sin was revealed. Could this last church passive and blind state cause the man of sin to perform his final deceptions? Revelation 18 tells God’s people to get out of ‘her’ before it is too late. How did they end up partaking in her sins yet again?

Israel and Judah and the history of the Christian church

I now want to compare the history of the Christian church with the history of Israel to show how the same thing have happened before. Remember what Paul wrote about, his people being broken off and the heathen being grafted in on the stem? « And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. » (Rom.11:17:21).

How often do not Christian churches speak of how Judah and Israel failed God. We shake our heads in disbelief over their bad choices and stupidity of not recognizing their Messiah and therefore killing Him. They cast Jesus out of the city. But the last church in Revelation have cast him out of their house, and they haven’t even noticed that they have become spiritually poor.

How many years did God give Israel and Judah to get back on the right track? Well the Christian church have done everything they did and more, and even worse for an even longer time span. We ought to shake our heads in disbelief like John did when he saw the harlot in Revelation 17. It says: «when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration [wonder]. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? » (Rev.17:6.7). We should cover ourselves in ashes and cry. For the Christians started oh, so well. They suffered greatly, but were true. But then they had a great, great falling away.

In the Bible David and Jesus is joined together with name. A messianic prophecy reads: «And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. » (Ezek.37:24)

Gerard_van_Honthorst_-_King_David_Playing_the_Harp_-_Google_Art_Project

David represented God’s anointed. Christ means ‘the anointed’. Although David faced great resistance the first years, he was made king in Hebron and later king over both Israel and Judah joined together, and so the kingdom was united. In the same way Christ elected His disciples, and the first apostolic church was in harmony. We read from Acts about the very first congregation: «they were all with one accord in one place. » (2:1)

During David’s reign the kingdom continued to expand, but something happened. After David came Solomon, and the greatness of the kingdom was widespread. So much that even the Queen of the South came to meet and see the kingdom with her own eyes. The kingdom had peace and prospered. They were very influential and many followed their example. In the same way, the first church reached to the ends of the world with the gospel. They had great success in getting the word about Christ and the good news of His salvation out. Many church groups gathered in groups in the south, east, north and the west. Although Christianity had experienced severe persecution from the roman empire, something was about to change when emperor Constantine converted to Christianity. He started converting pagan sites into Christian sites, and started mixing the two religions. A false sense of peace and security rested over the people of God. Constantine’s conversion was most likely tied to regaining popularity, and also political reasons. The same was the case with Solomon. He started to marry pagan princesses from countries around him. Perhaps his attention was to create peace, but this was hardly the results. His wives wanted to continue their pagan practices, and after some time of persuasion he believed himself to be an open-minded peacemaker when he allowed them to worship their gods on the hills surrounding Jerusalem. Not long after, God’s own people started following their lead and indulged in pagan worship. They hadn’t rejected the temple service, or worshipping God there, they just did both and went ahead and created a mixed religion. This is exactly what happened to the Christian church. They went from pure to corrupted as they started mixing pagan customs with biblical principles. It probably created peace and acceptance from the pagans, but ultimately it was a falling away from the truth. The church and Solomon committed the same sin, and the results were very similar. But the question is, will we in both these cases of falling away see a leader figure in the midst of God’s people who lead them astray?

After Solomon his son Rehoboam became king, but Israel wouldn’t follow him, therefore the kingdom was divided. Rehoboam remained king in Juda where God’s temple was, but Jeroboam

became king over the ten other tribes. He was king of the north kingdom, and Rehoboam was king of the south kingdom.

In the same way the Pagan-Christian mixture lead to a division in God’s church. In one of these divisions a Pope rose and seized the leader position. Many don’t know about this because the catholic church has done all they can to remove information tied to an early controversy of the papal power, and that the church prior to the papacy had many divisions. This continued also after the pope emerged. The eastern church refused to accept the pope and Rome as the center of Christianity. But not only them, smaller groups of Christians where persecuted by the papal power for resisting his self-claimed right to rule over them. The pope was later granted the rights to judge heretics within the faith by the roman emperor, the red dragon, himself. This made the pope a supreme ‘judge’ within the church.

Not only that, but the pope favored an altered law of God and claimed the right to judge according to that law instead of God’s original, unaltered law. Thus the Pope also became the lawgiver of the church, as well as judge. Now, in the old testament there were judges instituted by God, but they were required to judge with God’s law as an absolute guideline. The pope, however, refused to use God’s law as the guideline and used his own version of it. In addition, along with his priests, he placed themselves in a position where they could grant people forgiveness and atonement for sins. All these three pointed to the pope as the man of sin that Paul had referred to. He came after the falling away, he sat as judge among God’s people, as a lawgiver and as the one that granted atonement/forgiveness. All these were the positions God had in His Temple. He rested above His law, He granted atonement through the sacrifices given in the temple, and He was a judge in disputes. The special change the pope made was allowing statues in worship, although the Torah clearly states that God does not want to be worshipped in this way (Deut. 12:3-4). But there were many other pagan rites included into the church service. Part of the reason for the split between the eastern and the roman church, was that the pope was changing the time of Passover. But this specially ordained time by God wasn’t the only thing he changed. The pope also determined that God’s Sabbath, as it was written in the ten commandment law were to be disregarded to make way for the newly elected Sunday-Sabbath. Daniel prophesied that the man of sin would do exactly this: «And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. » (Dan.7:25). But why does this matter so much for God, that He mentions it as if it was this huge violation? Well changing times and laws are an act reserved for God alone. Whilst taking this upon himself, the antichrist was stealing God’s people, from being loyal to God, shifting their loyalty to himself. And by doing that he is challenging God Himself.

It’s believed that part of the reason this change was made was because the church wanted to distance themselves from the Jewish roots and jews, who at that time were hated very much. Ironically God first ordained Jews to spread the gospel in order for it to be shared in the right setting. Removing this made the church loose a very important foundation. A church council at Laodicea even claimed that those who kept the true ten commandment Sabbath were Judaizers, meaning sympathizers with the Jews. So far the great witnesses to the Christians falling away from truth, was the Jews who knew the laws of God. But as we are about to see, this is just history repeating itself. The same motives and actions have all been done before. But at that time it was about the divided kingdom of Israel and Juda.

021-rehoboam-jeroboam

Jeroboam got the largest part of the tribes, with ten of them under him. But Juda still had God’s chosen dwelling place and the temple where the Ark and God’s law was located. This made Jeroboam nervous; would he lose his kingdom to Juda as time went by? «And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David: If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah. » (1. King.12:26-27).

002-rehoboam-jeroboam

How was Jeroboam going to be able to keep his authority over Israel? He thought he had to create a false worship that would compete with the real worship. He then sets up two calves of gold, one in Bethel (Bethel means God’s house), and the other in Dan (Dan means judge). He then said to the people: «It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. » (12:28). He had placed two golden calves in ‘Gods house’ and in ‘judge’, claiming these calves also represented the same God that lead them out of Egypt. He claimed it was the same god, but the style of worship was mixed together with paganism. This is the same exact thing the pope did. Rather than keeping the Jewish roots of Christianity, he claimed that they worshiped the same Christ with him, and then he allowed them to pray in front of images, and he tried to make Rome the new Jerusalem.

But Jeroboam wasn’t done there. He had to do one more thing in order to complete to establish himself as king over them. He decided to copy God’s feasts, but also alter the times of them: «And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made. So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense. » (1. King.12:32-33)

001-rehoboam-jeroboam

Talk about history repeating itself. The pope wasn’t content with the influence over the majority of God’s church. He proclaimed his authority by changing God’s feast days and Sabbath day just like Jeroboam did. The Bible leaves us no room for doubt when clearly showing us how God feels about a ruler making such a bold move to insure his power over the people. He claimed to represent God but He didn’t represent Him at all. He represented himself under the guise of false spirituality.

While the king stood there on the day of the feast that he himself had appointed, in front of images that he claimed was God Himself, God sent a man with a message for Jeroboam. «And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee. And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. » (1.Ki.1-3). God rejected him as his representative. What did Jeroboam do? Not unlike the Pope during the middle ages he decided the best possible solution was to have God’s prophet killed: «And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.»

God stopped him.

Then we see a strong symbolism in the following events. God had told his prophet to not eat or drink with anyone in this land: « For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. » (13:9).

In the gospels, both bread and water are used to symbolize Jesus. He said He was the bread from heaven, He also said He was the living water. The reason God refused to allow His prophet to eat here, could have a great symbolic meaning considering that a similar situation would occur withing the Christian church. There would be multiple sides claiming to represent Christ, but they were not all telling the truth. The Christ the papal power offered to the people along with it’s spiritual fornication, was not the same Christ that we are to receive. It’s a fake Christ that cannot save anyone, as their Christ has been stripped of his power as judge, the priest now offer atonement and the high priest is the lawmaker. We are not to eat or drink their Christ.

Another meaning with the restriction could be that dining with someone in those days were considered the same as entering into an agreement or covenant with someone. But God’s man was not allowed to do this. Today the Christian churches have united together in different groups, but the Bible warns us of going into union with any group mixing paganism with the true worship of God. And if this story also gives this warning, we need to know what the outcome of it will be.

The prophet followed God’s instruction, but on his way back he was tricked: «Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah. And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon, And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.»

What happens next is terrible. As a punishment a lion comes and kills God’s prophet that had spoken to Jeroboam, and when the lying prophet sees him dead because of his deception, he places him in his own tomb where he himself later also is buried. Thinking about this messenger of God, this seems like a harsh judgment for believing a lie. But this whole story might be one big warning to the Christian churches. Remember, in the bible the lion is also a symbol of Christ.

The old prophet appeared to be on the same side as the man of God in this conflict with Jeroboam. He then lies to him, and the man of God decides to let this man’s word take precedence before God’s word. He put him in as a mediator when God clearly had already stated His command.

There are two possible interpretations here. The first is how the Christian church, although having knowledge of Gods law, agrees to put it aside because a self-claimed mediator claims to have a revelation from heaven. Trusting this man before God’s clearly expressed word leads the man of God to a different Christ represented in the ‘bread and water’ he is being given. Or he goes into a union with him by eating in his house. This shows that perhaps both violence and deception is used to offer the false version of Christ. As Jeroboam tried violence and failed but the false prophet used deception and succeeded.

A second interpretation could be that this false prophet represents the false prophet mentioned in the book of Revelation. Here we see a deceiving power working together with the beast: «And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.» (16:13). The false prophet is one of the major deceiving powers in the end times. In Revelation 13 we learn how a second power will help the papal power to seduce God’s people: «And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. » (Rev. 13:13-15)

Now the Bible is clear that no matter who the deceiver is, if you follow them before The Lord, the result is the same. The Lion of Judah, Christ, will judge them: «And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. » (Rev. 18:4). Ironically God’s man, after dining with the false prophet, was given an animal to ride upon. He ended up riding on the beast of the false prophet. (1.King.13:23)

What did happen with the Christian church is that a reformation movement started, but they kept the times and laws changed by the papal power. Many of them also kept the images representing God and the saints. And a lot of other pagan customs. They partly reformed but not completely. They claim to represent Christ as much as the papal church does, and also that they have revelations from Christ. But we are still not to receive any man’s word, whether the pope’s or reformators, over God’s own spoken word and authority. They may claim to be on our side, or that they front the same cause, but if God is not their only law-maker and judge, they are not representing Him. God allowed the man of God to be destroyed because he believed the lie that the false prophet told him over the truth that God had told him. This is the same thing Paul speaks of when it comes to the Antichrist. They who are deceived were those who were willing to believe the lie over the truth: «Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.» (2.Thess.2:9-12)

We are the man of God who are to oppose the papal alternative worship, and him that claims his power as leader in God’s church. We are to reject his visions and those of false prophets who offer the same bread and water as he. And we must not enter into a covenant with them. Our loyalty must be to God alone. All who place themselves above Gods law are in conflict with it. Jesus never did this. He said: «I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.» (John. 15:10)

The Antichrist is someone claiming to represent Christ, who come with messages of peace and forgiveness, but at the same time is challenging the authority of God. The Antichrist is risen in a fallen church as a result of mixture of truth and lies. Antichristos means «an opponent of the Messiah».

Let’s just ask the dictionary: «someone who competes against or fights another in a contest, game, or argument; a rival or adversary.»

How did we learn that Satan tries to fool God’s people? Transforming himself into an angel of light or the workers of righteousness. What a better way to become Christ’s opponent then by just taking his place on earth, as head of the church, and then offer them a false sense of security under a false gospel? When Jeroboam wanted to strengthen his power and hinder the people from going to the true temple of God, he did it by offering an alternative worship under the guise of being true worship. For who would be your greatest enemy. One openly stating a disagreement with you, or one claiming to represent you, but lying and distorting your own words? Who would be the greatest threat to your plans and authority?

Could this man that millions of Christians world wide listen to, that dozens of kings, presidents and rulers have talked to, the one the “reformed” churches are returning to, the one that claims to speak on the behalf of Christ – could he be the real Antichrist warned about in the Bible? And if so, should we eat their bread and drink their water, or should we remain true to the word of God alone? The word of God that the pope claims cannot be trusted? Who are you going to believe? Meanwhile, God’s church is in danger whilst sleeping in the world of entertainment and amusements, waiting for some horrible looking atheistic Antichrist to surface, whilst the real one is already inside the house. For what better way for the enemy to succeed, then to make us misunderstand who the Antichrist really is. It is a secret, a corrupted idolatrous woman who have mixed Gods truth with lies and ancient pagan rites and practices. «And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication» (Rev. 17:4)

«FEAR NOT» For the NEW WORLD ORDER Or the Illuminati

4

Let me explain why…

Ever since youtube first started, conspiracy videos have surfaced, and in the last years even become a trend. Some seek out these videos because they really like everything that appear exiting, others because they have a real fear of future events, and some seek them out to mock and ridicule.

Although there are secret societies for sure, and a new world order is planned, there is great reason to worry over many of the videos (not all) that are trending. Some see an Illuminati worker in every celebrity. It is not taken into consideration that some just copy others. The seriousness of claiming someone is a devil worshiper or hired by the Illuminati without clear proof or confession, is that we risk breaking the ninth commandment. It says: «Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.» (Exo.20:16) That includes famous people! Many are going far as to look at very few symbols and by it determine what this person does behind closed doors. It’s not for us to publish guess work. It’s better to not have made the accusation, or to make a general accusation, then to end up being in conflict with the ninth commandment. It should be clear that even though someone claim to be Christian doesn’t mean they know what someone famous is thinking, feeling or doing privately. If God wants us to expose something He will make sure we are able to tell if what they have done really have taken place. Saying someone ‘sacrificed’ a family member to become famous when there is absolutely no physical evidence to support it, is placing many Christian conspiracy theorists in conflict with God’s commandments.

But there are secret societies, and that is not a secret. Obama and other state leaders have spoken of a new world order. That’s a fact. Some whistle-blowers, if they are to be trusted, say secret societies have been planning their world order for nearly 200 years. Some say even longer. It should come as no surprise to anyone that there are always some people who want to control others, that money is where the power is. And throughout time superpower after superpower, weather it’s Asia or Europe, have centralized money and power and tried to control their population by different laws constructed to fit the ideology of their time.

(Joe Biden etc talking of a new world order)

(George H.W.Bush speak of the new world order)

Germany under World War 2 is a classic example. Today many shake their heads over the German population allowing Hitler to take control. It ended in a blood bath for minorities, for handicapped, gypsies and of course for the Jews. But that was all happening for the most part, out of sight of the general public who went on with their daily lives. You see there was a lot of optimism with the socialist party and Hitler. The economy had been bad since the first world war and Hitler established an economical situation that helped lift Germany out of all their unemployment crises. It helped students get scholarships and get an education they might not have gotten otherwise. People forget that with all the control and evil, there followed also what appeared to be many good benefits for the German people. And this is the reason for the love and support for their leader at the time. Hitler also gathered people by creating a common enemy.  The same is happening today in many places. Even the States where the citizen are willing to give up on freedom as long as they get some benefits in return, or the hope of economical growth. Everyone needs to eat, and people in power can exploit this to benefit their agenda.

So if they really have been planning for 200 years should not God’s people be in utter fear and peril? Can it even be stopped?
Many are afraid when they watch videos related to the Illuminati and New World Order. But the Bible has a clear answer to give.

The book of Revelation and the book of Genesis are full of parallels. One talks of Paradise lost, the other of Paradise restored. They both speak of one worshipper killing the other worshipper. The creation and the re-creation. Because of this we get a little insight into the future. The book of Revelation talks about a power called ‘Babylon’ that are working with all the kings of the world. She sounds very powerful and is drunken of the blood of the saints.
400px-Confusion_of_TonguesThe parallel to Revelation’s Babylon is Genesis, the Tower of Babel.
And the same happens to both, God destroys them in one day (Rev.18 & Genesis 11). God is clearly comparing the two like He does other things in Genesis and Revelation. And through this we know what will become of their plans. With the story of the tower of Babel we learn something that should make any Christian fear a New World Order less.
You see, God allowed them to build the tower of Babel and the city for years. It was a great work that had taken a lot of their intellect, time and energy. They wanted to be ‘one’ and in control over the populated world. And God watched them build and build. And when they were nearly done and ready to harvest the fruit of their labour, utter global control, God hit the tower so it fell unto the ground.

Many are accusing God for not destroying Satan the moment he showed a sign of rebellion. They think that would have avoided all the evil. But He allows Satan to show his true intentions and his true face before He destroys him. Because God has allowed all men to show their true self and not always (he has sometimes) hindered them from doing evil, people will understand and agree with His judgment over them. But had He not allowed the devil and some people to show their intentions and actions, He could not have judged them and destroyed them without His righteousness being questioned for all time. To avoid sin to resurface again, people must know the consequence of sin. Or they will always wonder. Would the evil really have happened like God said it would have or was God making it all up? If He had destroyed them beforehand, they would never have known. And the uncertainty would have remained.
When the powerful men of this world have not only shown their true intentions but laid everything in place to commit the crimes and even have started to, there is no reason for God to allow it to continue for long. They can be judged. Revelation 18 does show us that the fallen church will bring unity to the kingdoms in her corrupted world, but that all their plans will come to an end whilst still doing her trading. «How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.  And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour is thy judgement come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more..» (18:7-11)
They had plans to prosper but all their plans went up in smoke.

Psalm 2 has a message to our world leaders: «Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.»

danielThe prophetic statue that was shown to Daniel is truthful. One day God’s kingdom will come as a rock and destroy all these other kingdoms. But notice how the world will still be divided or weak at Christ second coming. The iron and clay are still mixed making the iron weak.

We need not fear the Illuminati or the New World Order. In order to be prepared, we need to spend our time getting closer to Christ. Our faith in Him must be stronger than our belief in a world order. Our fear of Him greater than the fear of men.
As God’s messengers, we are to proclaim the coming kingdom of Christ, not the coming kingdom of the Illuminati. When Peter looked at Christ he could walk on water. When his eyes started starring at the stormy waters underneath him he started to sink. (Matt.14: 28-31) We have to look at Jesus in these times. Let’s continue to lift Christ up before the eyes of men, so they see how powerful He is, and so that the powerful men on this earth appear weak and small in comparison.
God hit the tower of Babel easily just when they were about to finish it, and He will destroy also the plans of the New World Order as soon as they have shown what they are capable of. This is illustrated by the rock hitting the feet of the Statue.

And remember: «Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. It is the LORD of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread» (Isaiah 8:12-13)

Was the secret of Golgotha inside the Ark of the Covenant?

3

ark_and_content

Most of the time the only thing that was inside the Ark of the Covenant was the ten commandments. But for a period of time there was made an exception.

«And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.» (Heb.9:3-5)

But did it all have a prophetic meaning in addition to a historical one? The manna, as we know, fell from the sky and onto the ground and fed the Israelite’s in the wilderness. When the people talked about the miracle of the manna to Jesus He told them: «I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.» (John 6:51)

At one point Israel was tired of the manna and wanted meat for food instead. In the same manner Christ and His words were rejected, and the men of this world preferred. Christ clearly states that the symbol of the bread from heaven is tied to Him coming here, to our earth, as a human, Christ in the flesh. But also regarding His death: «And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.» (Luke 22:19)

The manna in the Ark could therefore very well symbolize Christ coming in flesh to die for mankind.

The second item that was placed into the Ark was Aaron’s rod. There is a story in Numbers that tells about a rebellion against Moses and Aaron.

«Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod. And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers. And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you. And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you. …..And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.» (Numbers 17:2-5 & 8)

The rod was later placed into the Ark together with the manna. The rod represented God’s elected priesthood. The new testament tells us that in the new covenant there would be a new priesthood (Book of Hebrews). Christ would be our priest and high priest. (Heb.8:1, 5:10) The main mission of the High Priest was to atone for the children of Israel. To bring forth a sacrifice in place of the sinners. They transferred their sin to the sacrificial animal, and the blood was brought by the High Priest into the sanctuary before the throne of God, the Ark. «And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.» (Numbers 18:5)

Jesus being our High Priest had to have a sacrifice to bring in order to represent us. Christ Himself was that sacrifice, and at His death He had the role of the Priest and the sacrifice at the same time. But not only that, He also had to bring the sacrifice before the Ark and the Testimony. «And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish. If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.» (Leviticus 3:6-8). «And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary.» (Leviticus 4:6)

Inside the Ark was Aaron’s rod, the sign of the priesthood. The manna illustrates Christ in flesh here on earth dying for us, and then there was the law. These three sum up Ron Wyatt’s discovery of the Ark of the Covenant in a perfect way. How all three had to be present at Christ’s death. The sacrifice, the priest, and the law. These three also sum up the new covenant which is perfect as it is called the Ark of the Covenant. But it also reveals who the throne belonged to. The two symbols of Christ along with the law, that was written by Himself, make the foundation of the throne of the King of Kings among men. Christ was also the Law or the Word in flesh.  “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (Joh.1:1-5)

However by the time the Ark was hidden the manna and the rod had been removed: «There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.» (1.King.8:9)

This could signify that the ark was going to be used not just as a symbol of the plan of salvation, but actually be a part of the new covenant. The two symbolic items tied to the sacrifice of Christ and the priesthood, were replaced as the Ark at Golgotha faced the real High Priest and the real Sacrifice. And as the blood fell on the Mercy Seat, the symbolism was fulfilled and replaced with the real event.

The Ark and The Plagues

1

Moses was asked to build the sanctuary and the items after the pattern of what was in heaven, which was shown to him on the mountain.«Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.» (Heb.8:1-5)

sanctuary

It shows us how Christ is ministering in the sanctuary in heaven, and by looking at the sanctuary service on earth we can understand what Christ is doing for us in heaven.

All the items were built as copies of the ones in heaven, except one that was made as an original. All the items were made by human hands after a pattern, and are therefore replicas. However the tables of stone contains the law that was written with God’s own finger. So although a copy, because it was written by the same person that wrote the one in heaven, it is still an original.

If a painter paints the exact same picture twice, they are both originals. The same goes for the law of God. This is why, although the earthly priestly system ended, the law didn’t end. It was an original and therefore it continued as an original after the earthly system was replaced by the original heavenly system.

The ark containing the law is therefore still relevant. What we can also see, is when something happens in the sanctuary in heaven, something also happens here on earth. The law on earth and the law in the ark in heaven are connected and they have the same purpose/mission, as they are identical.

ark97

We are told in the Bible that God will send plagues over the earth. «The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.» (Isa.24:5-6)
We get this reason confirmed in the New Testament.

Notice what takes place right before the plagues that are mentioned in Revelation is to come over the earth. «And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. …And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.» (Rev.15:1 & 5-8)

The next chapter in Revelation tells us what the different plagues are. But who who are the ones that receive them?

In Revelation we are first told, in chapter 14, about an angel going to all cultures and people on earth with the message; do not worship the beast. (Because if they do) And here is the reason: «And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation…» (Rev.14:9-10)

And so when the plagues comes it’s said to be «seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God», and in the first plague it says: «And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.» (Rev. 16,2)

This means that the plagues are a punishment in the last end time scenario where man have chosen obedience to the beast power instead of heeding the warning given by God by the third angel’s message.

Before the plagues are poured out, we can see the following two things happening in the sanctuary in heaven.
1. The tabernacle of the testimony in heaven are opened. (The angels with the plagues comes from that part of the sanctuary)
2. The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and no-one was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

The first thing that is worth noticing is that no-one was able to enter the temple until the plagues were fulfilled. The one who does enter the tabernacle of the testimony is the priest, which on behalf of men seek to bring atonement for us. We see that Christ is doing this: «Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.» (Heb.2:17)

What does it mean that no-one is able to enter the temple during the plagues? Well, it means that there is no reconciliation.

In the book of Ezekiel, right before the destruction of Jerusalem, the temple is also filled with smoke as the Lord leaves the temple. Again, what followed was plagues and even death to the pagan inspired people who had refused to turn from their ways in spite of all the prophets that had been sent to them.

We also learn the following lesson:

  1. Since the plagues are taken from the room where the testimony is, or from the ark of the testimony, the law is what will have sentenced them to suffer the punishment that this vial represents.
  2. The persons receiving the plagues have broken God’s law.
  3. By following the beast-power they have come in conflict with the law.

So how can this affect the earthly tables of stone? If it is an original then it will cooperate with the other original.

Therefore it’s interesting to note how the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant, and the awareness of it, has taken place at the very time of the last days. As we know the ark in heaven will play a part, could this signify that the earthly ark will play a part as well?

Not only has the earthly tables of stone been made ready for an event, but the plagues mentioned in Revelation seem to come in small portions now and then, perhaps witnessing that the plagues that are coming are very much real.

For what are the chances that the reoccurring problems we are facing in the world today would match so perfectly the plagues that is mentioned coming upon the earth written about nearly 2000 years ago?

How could they know, unless by divine revelation, what type of problems would be ‘modern’ curses?

I’m not saying the plagues have already come in full force, but that perhaps we see them in small portions, as a warning, and that this might cause man to be interested in reading about the warning of the third angel, so that they can be saved.

It’s worth thinking about, since the plagues comes from the room of the Testimony, that we should not find ourselves in rebellion or in conflict with Gods law in the last days before Christ returns. When we follow a law we also show who our King is. In the Bible, worshiping and obeying is in harmony, it is the same thing.

The blood that the priest carried in to the mercy seat was only able to pardon as long as there was a mediator. The same way the blood on the mercy seat on earth witness about the salvation that God is offering to mankind for their transgressions against His law. But there is a time when the door of mercy will shut close. But that door will not close before man have been given knowledge of the offer of salvation and have rejected it.

So let’s take a look at the plagues:

1. The first one talks of a grievous sore: «And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.»

We have already seen many plagues like this over the centuries. And the last one mentioned in this verse, will without a doubt be the worst one yet. But the one people are fearing will spread in these recent times, is the Ebola virus which is very much a grievous sore.

As the plagues seem to be a punishment directed towards the beast because of it’s actions, seen in the second vial, the sore could very well be a symbol of something they have inflicted on the innocent.

In Revelation 18, about the coming plagues, it is said: «Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.» (Rev.18:6)

The sore might therefore be a punishment for the role they have played in destroying other peoples health or bodies.

2 & 3. «And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgements.»

It’s interesting how it keeps being repeated that God is righteous giving these plagues on man.

It seems that God is showing us warning signs of these plagues also, as the ocean in Australia has gotten a blood-like color. Scientists claim this is the result of natural causes, but God has used nature to create plagues in the past as well. For instance, one of the plagues that was sent over Egypt, He used frogs and other elements from nature. There is no reason to assume that he won’t do the same in the end time scenario. Fish and animal life suffers at the condition of this ‘red’ sea. So if it was spread more world wide, and if it was stronger, it would definitely have caused a problem with life in the sea. It is also worth noticing how it says also the rivers will turn red. Here God has given another example as we see one of the rivers in China going red as well.

The scientist can tell you why these waters turn red, but the scientists in the days of Noah could probably also have told how it was possible to get a world-wide flood, if they had been alive to explain it. Just because it can be explained doesn’t mean it’s not a curse.

We also see the beginning of animals dying. Every week thousands of sea-animals are washed up on shores dead or dying. The numbers are really high, and the phenomenon keeps getting worse. It is almost as the contractions of a women in labor, more and more, stronger and stronger. The amounts of sea-animals dying in 2015 are extreme. If it is compared to contractions, then the next is the plagues.

The world might not have much more time to take heed to God’s warning. The time Christ leaves the sanctuary to speak on behalf of man is almost over. We need to be in the right place with God today.

We are told that the reason why God allows these plagues, is because of the persecution of God’s people, these people even caused their deaths. Make sure that at this time in history, you are not a killer, because God will give you blood to drink. However, there is still a little time to seek God’s pardon before it is too late.

4. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.”

The sun has already proven to behave a little unusual and doesn’t always follow the scientists predictions when it comes to sun flares. This year (2015) the were almost no sun flares the first couple of months. There is little doubt that the world are facing climate change. More snow and ice, but also hotter summers. There have been droughts several places like USA, Africa and Australia.

Temperatures are said to be rising and the last decade was the warmest ever recorded.

But the sun burning in the plague could be related to warmer temperature, but it could also be related to the ozone layer. The United Nations Assembly has set September the 16th as an international day for the preservation of the ozone layer. The ozone layer absorbs over 90% of the sun’s medium-frequency light. If this was in any way weakened man would indeed be burnt.

The plague could also be a combination of the two.

This is also a plague we can see the tendency of already today and that the man writing the Book of Revelation nearly 2000 years ago could not have known would be an end time sign.
This year, summer 2015, has had several heat records all over the world and thousands have died of the heat.

5. And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Here we can see that those who are effected by the fifth plague is still suffering from the first showing the plagues comes over a short duration of time. Which is evident considering that making the river fountains toxic, and extreme heath, would not be survivable for long periods of time.

The darkness here explained cannot be connected to the sun disappearing for it did then we wouldn’t have extreme heat but a frozen state. But it doesn’t say it will be cold with the darkness. In addition the plague is centered around the «throne» of the beast and so it’s not world-wide, but seem to be referring to the beast’s capitol. However it could also of course reference to the kingdom.

God already did this plague to Egypt. The ninth plague was described this way: «And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days» (Exo.10:21-22)

This could very well be a supernatural darkness. But God could also be using nature elements.

Examples on darkness hitting cities today are subject to sand-storm, heavy pollution or storms. If you remove electrical lights when something like this happens you have complete darkness. But it could of course be a supernatural one. All I’m showing as this plagues are very much possible.

It’s not to be over looked how the powers of the world have continued work that have endangered the planet and left it polluted and toxic. But perhaps the sins of the ‘beast’ is more to have left the world in spiritual darkness. Their teachings have taken people from the truth, or made a confusion that have lead people from the real Christ to a false one.

Just like they got ‘blood’ to drink because of the blood they had spilled, they now get darkness as they have given darkness to those looking for a savior.

6. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.   And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

In this plague we see perhaps some of the results of the previous plagues. People are realizing that the ones claiming to be blessed of God, who’s council the world have followed, really was a deceiver. The darkness coming over the « seat of the beast» is a visible curse. They are also infected with sores.

In the bible the king of the east are usually connected to the Arab people, the descendants of Abraham’s sons Ishmael and Median. When the bible speaks of these groups of people as the people of the east, it did this in a time when there were great empires in also the far east.

The tension between Islam and the west have long been there. They feel the west is corrupting them with bad moral and control, while the west feel the Islamic people are a problem, uncontrollable and dangerous. When you have the Islamic people coming from one side and the beast and false prophet from the other, it is revealed that the beast and false prophet is connected to the west.

This two groups are preparing for a big war, but we don’t see the war taking place in the sixth plague, only the terror of it’s preparation. For in this plague they are gathered with the intention to fight, but we don’t actually see the fighting in the verse. But it could of course also be a fight.

Now from the beginning of the plagues until the seventh something have taken place. First it says no one was able to enter in to the temple, but in the seventh plague we see a voice coming out of the temple. God’s throne is still in the temple and it’s clear that it’s His voice speaking.

euphrates

7. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

The seventh plagues is the last one before Christ can be seen in the clouds. Here several things happens at once.

1. A big earthquake flattening mountains and moving islands

2. The big cities fall, and Babylon especially punished.

3. Great hail

Like with both global warning, massive animals die off, we can see many earthquakes. The amounts of earthquake every day are big. It’s all leading up to the final events. And the last earthquake will be the worst anyone has ever felt or ever seen.

In 2012 there was 12548 earthquakes, in 2013 there was 11341 and 2014 there was 16674. That’s a lot of earthquakes. But the number have been over 31000 a year a couple of times in the last decade.

There has this year been several hail storms in different countries that are so different and more rough then anyone is used to. These are small compared to the one spoken of in the seventh plague, but still we are able to see the massive damage the smaller one can make in these recent hail storms.

Perhaps all of these symptoms is God’s warning to man to turn before there comes a time when no mediator is in the holy place of the temple to speak on our behalf.

Now is the time to turn to God and from our sinful ways. Now is the time to seek atonement for sins for we are not guaranteed tomorrow. We need to be ready to day. And if we put it off then we might put it off until it’s to late.

Christ have died for every sinner in the whole world, if the sinner are willing to give their sins to Jesus and be healed. But those who doesn’t come to Jesus will perish. Jesus said: «Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God,» and «And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.» (John.3, 3 & 15)

But many perished in those days. It’s written: «And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.» (Num.21:8) Those that didn’t go, wasn’t heal. Salvation is brought forth but we have to go to Him in order to receive it.

«For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.» (John.3,16)

So why are God allowing the earth and the people to be destroyed? For the same reason many atheists have said they refuse to believe in a God and by those words justifying that God will condemn them to death. There are to many people suffering, to many taking advantage over others. Nations using other nations, people using other people, religion using people for it’s own sake. Why did God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? «And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous. I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.» (Gen.18:20)

It’s a paradox that those refusing God say it’s because He doesn’t interfere in all the evil that is being done. And at the same time, when they read about God punishing bad people, they say He is a tyrant. And so, to many, God cannot do good whether he punishes or if He shows mercy. And for them they loose the opportunity to understand God and His mercy.

God’s final act of judgement came when the cry becomes to great. That cry sounding all over the world and is reaching God’s ears. And while the atheists claim to not believe in God because as he walk pass the street and see a helpless beggar, are questioning why God doesn’t help them. God in return are looking at men having wealth and questioning why they are not helping their fellow human being. There is enough resources on this planet for everyone to live a full and good life. The problem isn’t that God didn’t create enough resources for everyone, but that some people and even nations take more then their share. As some point finger towards God, God will hold us responsible for our actions and our greed.

The great cry from so many people and the willingness to look away from the other part, will cause God’s interference. So many children are now suffering abuse, all types of sexual violence are increasing as we speak. The numbers of workers working for little pay and under unhealthy circumstances, big companies causing small businesses to close, all the war and strife. The vanity and selfishness of the ‘modern’ civilization.

But the greatest punishment is coming to the false Christian system, that instead of bringing man the truth so they could be healed, so the world could be healed, gave them lies that lead them to be cursed.

The tables of stone that was placed in the ark are witnessing against man here on earth just like the one in heaven are witnessing against us. And both will be revealed in this time. However, we cannot look inside the temple in heaven, and so it’s reasonable to assume, it’s the earthly tables of stone that will be visible to man right before this time of trouble.

For these tables are originals like the ones i heaven and are still relevant and still have a function.

The discovery of the Ark of The Covenant, is a warning that the time of the plagues and Christ second coming is very soon.

Now we can see tendency of the plagues mentioned and we hear of the ark found; the combination of these two are a great sign. However, God never leaves man in despair or darkness if there is a chance to save. His first motive is always to save. And so with the rediscovery of the ark and the tables of stone along with signs of the plagues coming, He revealed the blood of His son that can save us until Christ leaves the Most Holy and the temple is filled with smoke.

The blood on the mercy seat shows God’s last call to the world to turn and be saved.

The blood of the sacrifice was placed three places during the day of atonement. In the most holy place before and on top of the mercy seat, one the horns of the alter of incense and the rest by the foot of the alter where the sacrifice was made. The blood at the foot of the cross is therefore biblical and the revelation of it a witness of what time in earth’s history we are in.
